Polk County, Texas – March 10th, 2016 – District Clerk Bobbye Richards announced today the inclusion of redacted court case information and images from the District Courts and County Court at Law of Polk County in an Internet-based website at www.idocket.com. The District Clerk joins a growing consortium of counties to display court information on the Internet. The District Clerk's office has gone one step further, ensuring that social security numbers are redacted from all documents displayed protecting public confidentiality.

Currently, 86 counties and 148 County and District Clerks across the State of Texas participate in iDocket.com’s online database including Nacogdoches, Houston, Tyler, Trinity, Angelina and Liberty Counties to name just a few. iDocket.com is adding other counties to its database on a regular basis.

District Clerk Bobbye Richards states she is excited to offer this new service to the attorneys who practice in Polk County and any other individuals and entities that require and can use easy access to this information. This also includes bail bondsmen and of course the general public. Ms. Richards states, “Court information will be easily available and accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By making this service available, customer service will increase and personal traffic and telephone requests are being reduced saving taxpayer dollars while still protecting personal information."
